We are recruiting for an Assistant Quality Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team supporting our key client EDF Energy Nuclear Operations with their nuclear fleet in the UK based at Torness Power Station.

The role supports the implementation of quality activities within the project team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in quality practices and a keen interest in developing their skills in a regulated engineering environment. The role contributes to maintaining compliance with internal standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining quality documentation and records. 
• Support the scheduling and coordination of internal audits. 
• Help track non-conformances and improvement actions. 
• Contribute to lessons learnt and improvement initiatives. 
• Provide administrative support for quality tools and dashboards. 
• Assist in monitoring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. 
• Respond to basic quality-related queries and escalate as needed

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Basic understanding of quality principles and documentation. 
• Some experience supporting or participating in audits. 
• Good organisational and communication skills. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
• Willingness to learn and develop within a regulated environment.
