Office Clerk (Mail Room)
Dallas VA Medical Center | Dallas, TX 75216 | Potential Opportunity
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for Office Clerks to support Mail Room operations at the Dallas VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Join a dedicated team supporting our nation's Veterans by ensuring important mail, packages, and documents are processed and delivered accurately and efficiently.
Position Highlights
Temporary assignment, up to 120 days
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
No nights, weekends, or federal holidays
On-site at Dallas VA Medical Center
Support our nation's Veterans
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
U.S. Citizenship or legal residency meeting VA access requirements
Proficient in written and spoken English
Experience with mail sorting, processing, and distribution
Ability to operate postage meters, Pitney Bowes systems, and mailroom equipment
Basic computer skills and experience tracking packages
Ability to lift 25–40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to successfully complete required background checks and security clearance procedures
Key Responsibilities
Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Track packages and maintain accurate mail logs
Operate postage meters and mail processing equipment
Deliver mail to designated departments within the facility
Organize records and maintain a clean, efficient mailroom
Follow VA privacy, safety, and security procedures
Be part of a team providing essential behind-the-scenes support to the healthcare professionals serving our Veterans!
