- Manage related projects as an integrated portfolio, resolve cross-project conflicts, and drive accountability for delivery.
Business & Solutions Delivery Partnership
- Partner closely with Solutions Delivery Business Analysts to translate business needs and process requirements into technical plans, while coordinating dependencies across applications, infrastructure, identity, integration, security, data, testing, adoption, and support.
- Bring business and technical stakeholders together early to resolve gaps, competing priorities, ownership questions, and downstream impacts.
Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Modernization
- Coordinate projects involving Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Teams, SharePoint, network, firewall, cloud, identity, disaster recovery, infrastructure lifecycle, cybersecurity, operational technology, and other technical initiatives as needed across corporate, plant, terminal, field, and distributed environments.
- Ensure security, resilience, supportability, lifecycle, and operational readiness are built into programs from the beginning.
Help Desk & Service Delivery Programs
- Partner with the Service Delivery Lead to coordinate help desk modernization, support model changes, service management improvements, end-user experience, device lifecycle, tooling, and cross-team service delivery initiatives.
- Ensure new technologies and major projects are support-ready through clear ownership, documentation, training, knowledge transfer, escalation paths, and operational handoffs across the internal help desk, field support, MSP, infrastructure, security, application support, and Solutions Delivery.
Portfolio, Financial & Risk Management
- Maintain the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity roadmap and portfolio, giving leadership clear visibility into priorities, status, funding, dependencies, risks, decisions, and resource needs.
- Support capital and operating planning, forecasts, vendor expenditures, change management, implementation readiness, and transition to operations.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate consultants, technology vendors, managed service providers, security providers, and implementation partners, with clear deliverables, responsibilities, acceptance criteria, milestones, dependencies, and escalation paths.
- Support vendor evaluations, statements of work, implementation planning, governance, and accountability for commitments.
Executive & Stakeholder Communication
- Provide concise, decision-oriented updates and facilitate steering meetings, technical working sessions, vendor reviews, and project checkpoints.
- Translate technical challenges into clear business impact, decisions, and accountability.
How This Role Works Across the Organization
The Enterprise / Technical Architect defines standards and design direction. Business Analysts clarify business needs and requirements. Infrastructure, Security, and Service Delivery leads own technical and operational execution. The Senior Technical Program Manager connects these groups, managing the plan, dependencies, budget, vendors, risks, decisions, and overall delivery. The Service Delivery Lead retains day-to-day operational leadership of the help desk.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years leading technology projects or programs, including complex cross-functional infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, or service delivery initiatives.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects, technical teams, Business Analysts, vendors, managed service providers, and business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, endpoint management, systems, disaster recovery, and help desk/service management practices.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, vendor commitments, organizational change, and transition to operations.
- Strong executive communication and the ability to translate technical issues into business impact, decisions, and clear accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience leading projects in Microsoft-centric enterprise environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Teams, SharePoint, cloud, identity, security, or Zero Trust modernization.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, operational technology, or geographically distributed environments, including major vendor implementations or multi-partner programs.
What Success Looks Like
- Major programs have clear ownership, priorities, budgets, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
- Business requirements, architecture, technical execution, vendors, and operational teams stay aligned from discovery through support.
- Risks surface early, decisions happen faster, vendors are accountable, and technical leaders can focus more of their time on engineering, security, architecture, and operations.
- New capabilities transition into stable, documented, supportable operations, including the help desk and service delivery model.
