Role Summary:
Own the end-to-end delivery of New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Sustaining (NPS) activities across both B2B and B2C product lines. Drive sprint planning, deliverable execution, and customer issue resolution while aligning stakeholders, engineering, and customers around clear priorities and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Project Management
- Manage the delivery of B2B and B2C NPD and NPS activities from intake through release.
- Own the product/project roadmap and translate business goals into actionable deliverables.
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog across both B2B and B2C streams.
- Track project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks; escalate blockers early.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies between engineering, design, QA, and business teams.
Sprint Planning & Execution
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate sprints for B2B and B2C projects.
- Run core agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria and definition of done.
- Monitor sprint velocity, burndown, and capacity to keep delivery predictable.
- Remove impediments and balance scope against committed timelines.
Customer Issue & Ticket Management
- Manage resolution of B2B and B2C customer issue tickets end-to-end.
- Triage, prioritize, and assign incoming tickets based on severity and business impact.
- Track SLA adherence and drive timely resolution with support and engineering teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and feed fixes back into the backlog.
- Maintain clear communication with customers on status, timelines, and outcomes.
Stakeholder & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Gather and document requirements from B2B and B2C stakeholders.
- Provide regular status reporting on deliverables, sprint progress, and ticket metrics.
- Balance and reconcile the differing needs of B2B (contractual, account-driven) and B2C (volume, experience-driven) segments.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, compliance, and customer expectations before release.
- Define and monitor KPIs (delivery on time %, SLA compliance, defect rate, customer satisfaction).
- Drive process improvements across planning, delivery, and support workflows.
- Capture lessons learned and apply them to future sprints and releases.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner / Project Owner in B2B and/or B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle (NPD/NPS).
- Experience with backlog and sprint management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Excellent prioritization, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage customer escalations and drive issue resolution under SLA.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking delivery and support metrics.
