Description

Build Connections. Showcase Exceptional Homes. Turn Opportunities into New Beginnings.

Rose Associates is seeking a personable, motivated, and customer-focused Leasing Representative to join our multifamily team. As one of the first points of contact for prospective residents, you will play an important role in showcasing our communities, highlighting the value of our properties, and guiding individuals through the leasing process from their initial inquiry to move-in.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for sales and customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and driven to deliver an exceptional experience while helping achieve the property's leasing and occupancy goals.

The Opportunity

As a Leasing Representative, you will help drive leasing activity, build positive relationships, and support the day-to-day operations of the leasing office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease execution, including greeting prospective residents, assessing their needs, scheduling appointments, and conducting property tours.
  • Showcase available apartments and community amenities, effectively communicating the property's features, benefits, and overall value.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, providing accurate information and maintaining consistent follow-up.
  • Guide prospective residents through the application process, ensuring required documentation is collected and applications are completed accurately.
  • Coordinate background and credit screenings in accordance with company policies and communicate application status and leasing decisions.
  • Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents, creating a welcoming and professional leasing office environment.
  • Partner with the property management and maintenance teams to address resident requests, coordinate service needs, and support resident satisfaction.
  • Communicate with current residents regarding maintenance concerns, lease renewals, and other questions or requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly leasing and sales reports, including traffic analysis and other reporting as assigned by the Leasing Manager or Community Manager.
  • Receive and accurately record rental payments, deposits, and other applicable transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing activity, sharing relevant feedback with management.
  • Support leasing and marketing initiatives designed to generate traffic, improve conversion, and achieve occupancy goals.
  • Prepare and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and applicable Fair Housing requirements, maintaining accurate and organized leasing records.
  • Maintain an active on-site presence, moving throughout the property and communicating effectively with residents, prospective residents, employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the leasing team and overall property operations.
Who We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of leasing or sales experience, preferably within multifamily residential real estate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
  • Customer-focused approach and the ability to confidently present apartment homes, community features, and leasing opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple inquiries and priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management platforms, including iLuvLeasing, On-Site, and Yardi.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and residential leasing practices.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Valid STATE Real Estate License, or the ability to obtain one within the first 120 days of employment. All active license holders must register their license with Rose Associates upon hire.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
