• Pay: $18-20 per hour, based on experience.
• Attendance bonus: $50 weekly for meeting attendance requirements.

About the Position

Custom Filters Direct is hiring Industrial Maintenance Apprentices to learn production equipment repair and facilities maintenance alongside our experienced team.

We’re looking for mechanically inclined individuals with basic tool skills and some mechanical training or hands-on repair experience. Experience gained through technical school, automotive repair, previous employment, or personal projects is welcome. Previous professional industrial maintenance experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production machinery and automated equipment.
• Learn preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, equipment checks, and adjustments.
• Help repair or replace worn mechanical components under supervision.
• Assist with general building repairs and facilities upkeep, including lighting, fixtures, and basic plumbing tasks as trained and authorized.
• Learn to read equipment manuals, follow work orders, and document completed maintenance.
• Keep tools, supplies, and work areas clean and organized.
• Work with maintenance and production employees to support reliable equipment operation.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and perform tasks only as trained and authorized.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on repair experience.
• Experience safely using hand and power tools.
• Willingness to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn new skills.
• Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to reliably commute to our Bloomsburg facility.
• Availability to work the scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving tools and materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Technical or trade school coursework in industrial maintenance, mechanics, automotive technology, mechatronics, or electrical technology is preferred but not required.
