  • Provide best practices guidance to national, state and local victim assistance programs, criminal justice system organizations, and government organizations and allied professional groups on how to maximize their use of available resources to build capacity, resolve issues, troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions to support effective service delivery and response to victims of crime.
  • Participate in complex projects related to area of specialization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Offer strategic insights to senior management and executives to assist with planning.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Masters’ degree in the social sciences, criminal justice, victimology, or related field.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in supporting victims impacted by large-scale violent cimes.
  • U.S. citizenship is required per contract requirements.
  • This position requires an OJP security clearance due to the handling of personally identifiable information (PII). Candidate must currently hold or be able to obtain clearance.

Additional skills we expect you to have

  • Knowledge of human services and criminal justice social science research and evidence-based programs and practices.
  • Viewed in the criminal justice and victim services field as a subject matter expert with a proven track record of delivering TTA.
