We support Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as Private Industry by offering skilled personnel throughout a wide-array of technical disciplines.
We are looking for a Janitors/Porters to support the Central Alabama Health Care System(CAVHCS) VA Medical Center in Tuskegee, AL. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (2) years' experience in performing janitorial services in an Environmental-Hospital Services industry. specifically with Sanitation teams. Detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service skills is a must.
Applicants must be US citizen and must be able to pass a background check performed by the Federal Government.
Key Responsibilities: Buffing the floors, performing cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning the lobby area, hallways, bathrooms. Dusting, cleaning doors and glass, removing litter, refill all paper products, clean kitchen/break areas. Provide professional and friendly customer service to all residents and customers.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and required to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
