Description

Lloyd’s is the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace, bringing together the world’s leading risk takers to advance global progress.

Our strategy is focused on delivering strong underwriting performance, operating an efficient and flexible marketplace, and maximising the capital advantage of the Lloyd’s market — while continuing to build a Lloyd’s we are proud of.

How we deliver this, matters. We take the risk, make things happen, and own the outcome — working together across our global network to turn insight into impact.

Lloyd’s are seeking to recruit an IT-CRE Change Delivery Lead to help deliver technology change that supports our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) estate and the wider Lloyd's market.

You'll lead the delivery of infrastructure, workplace technology and operational change initiatives, ensuring they're well governed, aligned to strategy and successfully transitioned into business-as-usual support. This is an opportunity to play a visible role in shaping the environments, technology and services that support one of the world's most important insurance marketplaces.

What you'll do

You'll take ownership of medium/large sized technology change initiatives, working across multiple teams, suppliers and stakeholders to drive delivery from planning through to implementation and handover.

  • Lead the delivery of CRE-focused technology and infrastructure projects within the Lloyd's Change Delivery Framework (CDF).
  • Develop and maintain project plans, delivery milestones and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate delivery across technology teams, operational teams and external suppliers.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, System Managers and Tower Delivery Leads to manage dependencies and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support infrastructure modernisation, technology migrations, office fit-outs and workplace technology change.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and delivery blockers.
  • Control project scope, budgets, timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure projects are transitioned effectively into operational support teams.
  • Produce clear reporting, maintain delivery transparency and support audit readiness.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and build strong relationships across the organisation.

What you'll bring

We're interested in people who can combine strong project delivery skills with a collaborative approach and a willingness to challenge, improve and innovate.

  • Proven experience delivering technology infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing project budgets from £100k to £1m.
  • Strong third-party supplier and vendor management capability.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams.
  • Knowledge of office fit-outs, workplace technology, networking and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, planning and reporting skills.
  • The ability to manage risk, navigate complexity and maintain delivery momentum.
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Prince2, PMP or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Exposure to infrastructure transformation, cloud migration or operational change programmes.

The kind of person you'll be

  • Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Bring people together to solve problems and achieve shared goals.
  • Communicate openly and make decisions with integrity.
  • Stay focused on outcomes while supporting others to succeed.
  • Create an environment where different perspectives are welcomed and valued.
  • Take ownership, act with accountability and continuously look for better ways of working.

Being inclusive at Lloyd’s is integral to how we work — and how we deliver impact.
We aim to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we serve, where everyone is treated with dignity and respect and supported to reach their full potential.

We take the risk by challenging traditional thinking and being proactive about inclusion. That means being open and positive about workplace adjustments, prioritising health and wellbeing, and investing in diversity and inclusion training so everyone feels able to contribute and succeed.

We make things happen by turning our commitment into action. Through employee networks, mentoring, volunteering opportunities and sustained investment in professional development, we create an environment where inclusion is experienced day‑to‑day — not just talked about.

We own the outcome by focusing on impact. By bringing together diverse perspectives and the best minds in the industry, we work collaboratively with underwriters and brokers to create innovative, responsive solutions that share risk and solve complex problems across global markets.
