Description

Now Brewing – logistics network analyst, Logistics Solutions! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

Are you energized by using data to uncover patterns, explain performance, and predict where opportunities or risks may emerge? Do you enjoy transforming complex operational data into analytics, visualizations, and recommendations that directly influence business decisions? If so, the Logistics Solutions team has an opportunity to make a measurable impact across the Starbucks supply chain network.

The logistics network analyst is an analytics-first role that uses data, business intelligence, quantitative analysis, and operational expertise to diagnose network performance, predict emerging risks, identify opportunities, and influence decisions across the Starbucks supply chain. You will provide analytical leadership across logistics, distribution, transportation, and coffeehouse operations while helping leaders move from reactive issue management toward proactive and predictive performance management.

As a logistics network analyst, Logistics Solutions, you will…

  • Own analytics from problem definition and data exploration through analysis, visualization, recommendation, and measurement of business impact.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards, scorecards, recurring business reviews, and KPI frameworks that provide clear visibility into network performance.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, quantify impacts, diagnose root causes, and surface improvement opportunities.
  • Develop leading indicators and analytical models that identify emerging service risks and improvement opportunities before they materially affect operations.
  • Build compelling data narratives that connect operational performance, root causes, business impact, and recommended actions for senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop repeatable analytical methods and automated data solutions that reduce manual analysis and accelerate decision-making.
  • Partner with technology and operational teams to improve data accessibility, data quality, reporting consistency, automation, and system functionality.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, logistics, operations, transportation, or distribution.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous business questions and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex data sets, advanced Excel, and Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience developing automated dashboards, scorecards, KPI frameworks, analytical models, forecasting approaches, recurring business reviews, or executive-level reporting.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to present complex analysis clearly to audiences with varied technical and operational experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, transportation, retail, distribution, route optimization, inventory management, service operations, or continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
