What You’ll Do:

We have an opportunity for a Technical Publications Writer to support our MQ-4C Triton aircraft and mission systems team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Triton aircraft, MOD, and/or FOB maintenance experience to the development and improvement of technical publications.

In this role, you will author and edit technical communications and interactive manuals, while working closely with the Triton Fleet Support Team to support verification and validation of procedures through on-aircraft reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting analysis, reviews, and evaluation of engineering data and requirements to develop and produce customized maintenance products.
• Creating technical data packages from vendor source data, Navy engineering support, and Navy logistics teams in support of the product development process.
• Become an expert editing Extensible Markup Language (XML) in S1000D Issue 4.1 specification.
• Adhering to established processes to incorporate Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) and Electronic Rapid Action Changes (ERACs) utilizing a Common Source Database (CSDB) tool set.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

Required Qualifications:

• Navy Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification.
• 7 years of aircraft/avionics technician experience.
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Systems, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal education and/or a combination of education and technical writing experience.
• 3 years of hands-on Triton aircraft maintenance experience.
• Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
• Experience in NAVAIR 00-25-604 requirements, graphics in publications, product design, system operation, or related field.

Salary Range:

• The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with an individual’s experience, qualifications, and skill set. ASEC is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation.
