The Opportunity

As a Cloud Infrastructure Senior Associate you will support client engagements focused on designing and implementing cloud and network architecture solutions that improve connectivity, security, and platform performance within our Advisory practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, and build meaningful client connections while deepening your technical skills, growing your personal brand, and mentoring junior team members. In this role at PwC, you will apply AWS and cloud infrastructure knowledge to help design, deploy, and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions, interpret business needs, and contribute to deliverables that support broader technology objectives.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You will guide and mentor junior team members, using your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze complex concepts and deliver quality work. In this role at PwC, you will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embracing increased ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities to grow. Your contributions will be integral to the success of client engagements and the firm's overall business strategies.

Responsibilities

- Designing and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure solutions that align with client platform and network requirements

- Analyzing cloud and network architecture needs to support secure, scalable, and reliable technology environments

- Configuring AWS services, cloud virtualization components, and infrastructure as a service resources for implementation efforts

- Troubleshooting cloud, network, and platform issues, then documenting root causes and resolution steps

- Applying architecture frameworks and enterprise architecture concepts to shape infrastructure design decisions

- Evaluating network security controls, firewall configurations, and access protocols to support protected connectivity

- Supporting cloud migration activities by planning infrastructure changes and validating technical dependencies

- Interpreting client requirements and translating them into technical solutions across cloud and network deployments

- Reviewing deliverables from junior team members and providing feedback to strengthen technical work products

- Building client relationships through clear status updates, issue escalation, and ongoing technical support

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree

- At least 3 years of experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure, including time in a client-facing or consulting delivery role

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering

- At least one of the following: AWS Associate-, Professional-, or Specialty-level credentials, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

- Master's of Science or an MBA is preferred

- Applying AWS security and advanced networking capabilities to support cloud solution design and implementation

- Working with NoSQL and purpose-built AWS databases, including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon ElastiCache, and Amazon Redshift

- Demonstrating AWS cloud infrastructure design and deployment skills

- Applying cloud troubleshooting across network and platform environments

- Interpreting client needs within advisory delivery settings

- Guiding junior team members through complex workstreams

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
