Schedule: Monday-Friday. 24/7 on-call coverage. Overtime, weekend, and holiday hours may be required based on business needs.

Job Summary: 101’s Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of a facility by performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. This role ensures that building systems, equipment, and infrastructure are operating efficiently. Key responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, addressing repairs, and responding to facility emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities (others may be assigned as business needs require):

• Uphold and maintain the highest standards of the Company’s mission, vision, and core values.
• Lead by example in the adherence of all Company policies, processes and procedures in accordance with the Employee Manual, Safety Manual, Department Manuals, etc.
• Conduct regular inspections of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, to identify and prevent potential issues.
• Follow scheduled maintenance routines to optimize equipment performance, reduce unexpected breakdowns, and extend the life of facility systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions in equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Replace or adjust defective components using tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical expertise to minimize operational disruptions.
• Conduct routine safety inspections to identify hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks within the facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise to minimize downtime and prevent further damage. Assist operators in corrective action.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or manual logs.
• Utilize any new CMMS software implemented within the company.
• Track inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, notifying management when supplies need to be ordered.
• Track inventory levels of supplies needed for common repairs, and work with inventory Manager to replenish items as needed.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and testing of new machinery or equipment as part of facility upgrades or improvement projects, as directed by the Facilities and Equipment Manager.
• Collaborate with other teams to provide technical input on equipment layout, efficiency improvements, and best practices for maintenance.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to maintain facility cleanliness and organization, including repairs to walls, flooring, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
• Attend all Company meetings, trainings, and certifications as required.
• Be willing to participate in the training of others as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, HVAC, or a related field, highly preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or related technical experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, mechanical, and general facility infrastructure.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility-related equipment issues.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance testing instruments.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, technical documents, and work orders.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or ability to learn and effectively utilize company systems.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance programs and maintenance best practices.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Basic computer skills, including email, maintenance software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, if required for business operations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as business needs require.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Requirements

Physical Requirements/Abilities:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, climb, and work in varying positions for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms for grasping, reaching, handling tools, and performing repair work.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a processing facility and office environment with frequent movement throughout the facility.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, powered industrial equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, humidity levels, dust, dirt, noise, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions.
• May be exposed to electrical systems, chemicals, lubricants, cleaning products, compressed air systems, and other industrial materials consistent with maintenance activities.
• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hard hats, steel-toed footwear, fall protection equipment, and other PPE as required.

• Fast-paced environment requiring prompt response to equipment malfunctions, operational interruptions, and facility emergencies.

• Participation in an on-call rotation, scheduled overtime, emergency response activities, and off-shift maintenance work may be required based on business needs.
