With nine ski resorts nearby, and close proximity to lakes, rivers, and trails, it's a paradise for hiking, biking, skiing, and water sports.
About this role:
As a Urologist at Intermountain, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role, you will help establish and grow a new employed urology practice as Intermountain expands its urology program into Ogden, Utah. You’ll provide full-spectrum general urology care in a growing market, with the opportunity to help build a new practice structure from the ground up.
This practice will offer strong clinic, hospital, and operating room support, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality surgical and clinical care. You’ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that includes oncology, radiation oncology, infusion services, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and access to advanced surgical technology including robotics. This integrated model provides the resources and specialty support needed to deliver coordinated care for patients with complex urologic and oncologic needs.
For the right candidate, this role offers a meaningful blend of professional growth, visibility, and long-term impact, especially if you are interested in establishing roots and growing with the practice.
- You’ll practice primarily at McKay Dee Hospital, with shared call coverage that includes McKay Dee Hospital and Layton Hospital in Layton, Utah. Call expectations will depend on team size but is estimated to be a 1:6 call rotation.
- You can anticipate two clinic days and two OR days, with flexibility as the practice ramps up.
How we'll support you:
- Guaranteed base salary plus productivity and quality incentives
- $50,000 starting bonus
- Up to $20,000 relocation assistance
- Up to $75,000 in student loan repayment support over three years (when applicable)
- Up to $36,000 residency stipend available for physicians in training
We care about your well-being, which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. In addition, we offer paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance to support your continuous growth and development. Learn more about our comprehensive benefits package.
What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
