What You’ll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, patients, and families to support quality care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and safety techniques.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to rehabilitation.
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus.
