The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Reporting to the VP of Global Logistics and Distribution, this role will lead a team of logistics professionals responsible for Distribution Center Operations, International and Domestic Transportation, Customs Trade Operations, and Intercompany Order Management across the Americas region, covering 14 distribution centers and approximately USD $4 billion in annual sales. You will also work closely with global Centers of Excellence to drive innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement across end-to-end logistics processes, deliver cost savings, and shape an optimized logistics network within the region.
As the Sr Director Americas Logistics, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Developing and executing regional logistics strategies, operating plans, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve service, cost, quality, safety, and compliance objectives.
- Driving operational excellence across distribution center, transportation, trade, and intercompany operations through performance management, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Optimizing logistics networks, capabilities, and end-to-end processes through collaboration with global Centers of Excellence, Procurement, and cross-functional business partners.
- Partnering with Commercial, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Operations, Finance, Quality, and other stakeholders to support customer commitments, business priorities, and supply chain performance.
- Leading and developing high-performing teams and external logistics partners while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Managing logistics spend, supplier performance, and productivity initiatives to achieve annual operating plan targets and deliver sustainable business value.
- Resolving complex operational and supply chain challenges while ensuring uninterrupted product flow and customer service excellence.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND twelve (12) years of combined experience in supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, and/or import/export
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Experience with SAP, S4/Hana, ERP Systems and/or supply chain forecasting tools
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
- Experience leading teams, projects, or operational initiatives
- Experience influencing and collaborating across functions to achieve business objectives
- Experience communicating with stakeholders through verbal discussions, presentations, and written communications
- Experience analyzing and resolving complex operational, supply chain, logistics, or inventory-related challenges
Work location: Eagan, MN
- Hybrid Eligible (job duties allow for some remote work but weekly presence in Eagan, MN is required)
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
