Description
The Opportunity:
• CACI is seeking an I-Stalker Subject Matter Expert (SME) Electrical Engineer to support our customer at NSWC Crane.
• Provide senior level engineering support for the United States Navy I-STALKER Program.
• Develop content for ICAPS documentation to support the development of preliminary allowance lists (PAL) and allowance parts lists (APL). Assess content and modify accordingly per the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
• Supportability and Maintenance of existing equipment and system documentation Analyze current sustainment strategy to research potential obsolete parts, recommend solutions, diagnose field failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
• Design below deck support equipment for Situational Awareness Systems (SAwS).
• Develop and review design documentation such as System Requirement Documents (SRDs), Performance (P-Spec), Design Specifications, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Development and execution of Test Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs)
• Develop and Review Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTRM), Test Procedures, Test Plans, Requests for Variance (RFV), and deviation requests, if needed.
• Design tests for Lowest Replaceable Units (LRU) equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience for engineering processes outlined in DoD 5000.88 “Engineering of Defense Systems” policy.
• Experience working with and Technical Knowledge of Electro-Optic (EO), Infrared (IR), and Laser Technology programs.
• Experience with business planning and project development.
• High level of competency in Configuration Management
• Knowledge of government operating procedures and requirements.
• Experience with technical writing and submitting test plans, test reports, standard operating procedures, after-action reports, system verification testing, training manuals, operator manuals, and maintenance manuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and communicate at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.
Desired:
• An active DoD Secret clearance.
• If required, must be able to obtain & retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$81,300 - $170,700
