An established organisation is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role combining financial accounting, fixed assets, capital projects and financial analysis.

The Role

• Maintain the fixed asset register, including capitalisation, depreciation, disposals and reconciliations
• Track and reconcile capital WIP and review project expenditure
• Support CAPEX/OPEX classification and timely project capitalisation
• Prepare month-end journals, accruals, reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Assist with financial statements, year-end reporting and external audit
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
• Partner with finance, project and operational teams
• Support process improvement, financial controls and reporting accuracy

About You

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Experience across financial accounting, fixed assets or project accounting
• Strong month-end, reconciliation and financial reporting capability
• Good understanding of capital projects and asset accounting
• ERP experience with SAP, Ellipse or similar highly regarded
• Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools advantageous
• CA/CPA qualification or progress towards completion desirable
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
