The Opportunity
As a Heritage Consultant with Fyfe, you'll join a collaborative and growing team delivering heritage services across renewable energy, transmission, infrastructure and development projects. Based in Brisbane, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, helping clients navigate heritage considerations while protecting and preserving cultural heritage values.
This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience across multidisciplinary projects, strengthen your technical expertise and build trusted relationships with clients, Traditional Owners, government agencies and project stakeholders.
The Impact You'll Have
- Deliver heritage assessments, site investigations and technical reports across renewable energy, infrastructure and development projects.
- Manage heritage projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring quality outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in fieldwork, archaeological investigations and heritage assessments to support project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients, Traditional Owners, government agencies and key stakeholders.
- Prepare fee proposals and contribute to tender submissions that support continued team growth.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, planners and engineers to deliver integrated project outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- You'll be a heritage professional who enjoys balancing technical excellence with stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
- A tertiary qualification in Heritage, Archaeology, Anthropology, History or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering heritage projects within a consulting environment.
- Sound knowledge of Queensland heritage legislation, cultural heritage management and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Strong report writing, communication and project management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for protecting cultural heritage.
