The opportunity

Do you like how engineering software, digital tools, and business processes come together to drive innovation and value? Hitachi Energy’s Applications tools & LCM support department is looking for the next Teamcenter Application Specialist. You will be included in a diverse team and collaborating with multiple roles within the organization.

In this role, you'll be at the center of improving and evolving critical engineering applications that enable business suc-cess. Working closely with users, project teams, stakeholders, and leadership, you'll influence technology decisions, drive application improvements, and help shape future ways of working.


This is more than an application support role. You'll have the opportunity to lead initiatives, support software and hard-ware deployment, collaborate across departments, and turn ideas into practical solutions that create real value. How you’ll make an impact

  • Participate in software and hardware upgrades.
  • Develop new methodologies and implementations procedures.
  • Application requirement specification and management.
  • Application administration, installation-management, and configuration according to Hitachi Energy and industry standards.
  • Planning and driving meetings with stakeholders.
  • End user support, problem solving and training.
  • Application license and access management.
  • Maintaining application and process related documentation.
  • Following and improving our way of working. 


Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in the IT or engineering space.
  • Experience with scripting in PowerShell/batch or similar, to enable automation.
  • You are a driven and motivated individual with a creative mindset and great interpersonal skills.
  • You share enhancements and improvement ideas and evaluate others’ ideas as if they were your own.
  • You possess a high willingness to learn and develop.
  • You have previously worked with or studied with Engineering related Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software.
  • Fluency in English is required, you can communicate well to get your message across in a coherent and clear way.
  • You have been involved in after school or work activities such as clubs, societies or projects.
