Infinity Engineering Group currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to work closely with our Mechanical/Electrical engineering team in our Tampa, FL office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to a variety of projects throughout the United States. In this role you will be a key contributor to the design and coordination of our mechanical projects and will gain valuable experience in the development of building mechanical systems.

You will be working closely with licensed professional engineers in the design and production of construction documents for a variety of mechanical projects including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing drafting, field inspections, measurements, and calculations while working closely with licensed professional engineers. You will also be helping train and assist junior engineers and drafters.

Occasional site visits required. Partial work from Tampa office required.

Requirements

2+ years experience as a mechanical engineer (HVAC focused) including experience with the design, layout and sizing of building mechanical equipment

BSME from an accredited university (EIT Preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD software (Autodesk Revit Preferred)

Carrier HAP experience preferred (or other similar software)

LEED AP BD+C preferred

Refrigeration experience/Fire Protection experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
