Summary
The Warehouse Materials Handler ensures department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety. The Warehouse Materials Handler ensures the accurate recording of data. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Listen and follow the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
- Assist with the physical organization of inventory
- Return inventory items to the proper locations
- Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production
Requirements
- Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Able to write and do basic math
- Basic computer skills or willing to learn
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to work well with others
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand on feet wearing safety boots from 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, and bend frequently
- Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
