Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing all routine and scheduled MRI examinations while providing exceptional care and service to patients. This position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with additional scheduled hours and on-call responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
• Review and verify orders prior to procedures
• Enter and process procedure requests accurately
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff

Requirements

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Completion of MRI competency requirements
• MRI registry eligible, with completion required within one (1) year of hire
• ARRT registered (RT[R]), MRI preferred but not limited
• SCQRSA license (as required)
• Current BLS certification

Experience

• Venipuncture experience required
