In this position you will have the opportunity to manage financial actions, contribute to the monitoring, review, and issuance of payments in the global management of resources, in accordance with the objectives and policies of the organization. Manage of the company’s bank accounts, funds and ensuring the accuracy of bank reconciliations, acting as a link between the different units of the organization and financial entities.

Main responsibilities:

• Access and negotiate foreign currency for the purpose of paying overseas suppliers.
• Forecast cash flow positions. 
• Ensures sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of daily automated bank reconciliations investigating and resolving reconciling items.
• Reconciles all bank accounts to bank statements and automated recons by the 3rd working day of each month.
• Acts as custodian for postdated cheques.
• Daily reports generation.
• Liaises with the bank regarding returned cheques and unknown lodgments.
• Confirms bank wires sent by customers.
• Submits monthly assigned accounting schedules as per communicated deadlines.

Requirements for the role?

• First Degree in Accounts, ACCA Level I or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience, which should include reconciling bank statements.
