Junior Network Engineer

Our client, an established IT solutions integrator in Cyprus, is expanding its technical team and is looking for a Junior Network Engineer to join their growing engineering function. The successful candidate will focus primarily on user-facing IT deployment and technical support, working with PCs, connectivity, access, peripherals and endpoint security. The role offers exposure to wider server and networking technologies as experience develops. Job Description Deploy and configure PCs, workstations, printers and related user devices. Join devices to corporate domains and install Microsoft Office, anti-malware and other required software. Provide technical support for Windows-based environments, connectivity, peripherals and user access. Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues remotely, by phone and on-site. Support deployment and maintenance of endpoint security solutions. Gradually gain exposure to Microsoft server technologies and wider networking infrastructure. Assist with deployment of IP telephony and other IT infrastructure as required. Attend client sites across Cyprus when required. Your Profile 1–3 years' relevant IT/technical experience; candidates with less than 1 year are not suitable. Practical experience with Microsoft client operating systems / Windows environments. Good understanding of PC/workstation troubleshooting, connectivity, peripherals and basic networking. Microsoft server experience is an advantage but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Fluent/strong Greek and English are required. Valid driving licence is essential. Permanent WFH is not offered, although legitimate temporary needs may be accommodated.
