Description
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and hands-on Event Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience planning and coordinating events and be comfortable working with clients, vendors, and event teams to ensure smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute events from start to finish.
* Assist with planning weddings, birthdays, corporate events, parties, and other social events.
* Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, decorators, venues, and other service providers.
* Assist with event budgets, timelines, logistics, and schedules.
* Conduct venue visits and assist with event setup and breakdown.
* Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and ensure expectations are met.
* Coordinate event staff and vendors on event days.
* Handle multiple events or tasks while ensuring deadlines are met.
* Troubleshoot issues that may arise before or during events.
* Prepare event-related documents, checklists, and reports where required.
Requirements
* 2–4 years of experience in event planning, event coordination, or a related role.
* BSc in any related field
* Hands-on experience planning and coordinating events such as weddings, birthdays, parties, corporate events, and other social events.
* Experience working with an event planning company is an added advantage.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Good vendor and client management skills.
* Good budgeting and financial management
* Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Canva is an advantage.
* Must be flexible with working hours, including weekends and occasional evenings, depending on event schedules.
