Description

What’s most important to you?  A fast-paced, dynamic workplace with good teamwork?  Having autonomy to grow your career?  Or making a meaningful impact?
How about all of the above?  If you’re nodding, we are looking for you to join Team Rebo as a Sr Global Material Planner !

A BIT ABOUT US
We are Rebo, and we provide interior and exterior automotive and electronics lighting solutions – both traditional and new concepts that we are excited to design and make!  We are developing new technologies which help drive the future of electric vehicles, including charge status indicators as well as using light in new ways to improve safety and design.  The opportunities to solve both practical customer needs and deliver enhanced features are endless.
Here, you'll discover that we aim to help turn your passion into a rewarding profession. We value your hard work, integrity and commitment to make things better and we put our people first by offering benefits that support your life and well-being.  We strive to create a culture of learning and opportunity, and most importantly, an environment where you can feel connected to your work every day.  We have our sights set on exciting things ahead, and we need top talent like YOU to help us get there!

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • International MRP & Planning: Analyze production schedules, customer forecasts, and master schedules to determine precise material requirements. Generate, manage, and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports.
  • Asia Supplier Management: Monitor, evaluate, and manage operational relationships with our Asia-based supplier base. Conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to production schedules, lead times, and quality standards.
  • Procurement Execution: Create, issue, and track international purchase orders (POs) based on MRP outputs, demand fluctuations, and safety stock parameters.
  • Global Logistics & Lead-Time Management: Actively manage extended lead times, ocean/air freight dynamics, and regional shutdown impacts (such as Lunar New Year and Golden Week). Coordinate with logistics, customs compliance, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material receipt and optimal material flow.
  • Expedites & Inventory Control: Expedite, defer, or push back international orders as needed to align with changing customer demand. Maintain accurate buffer levels to prevent production shortages while aggressively targeting inventory reduction goals.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with production planners, scheduling, and warehouse supervisors to ensure continuous raw material availability. Serve as the liaison to bridge technical or schedule clarifications with overseas suppliers.
 YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES
  • Language: Native or professional fluency in English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor degree focused in Business or logistics preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in material planning, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment (automotive or electronics experience is highly preferred).
  • ERP & Technical Skills: Experience with PLEX ERP preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Global Expertise: Proven track record managing overseas, including a strong understanding of international freight, lead-time forecasting, and global logistics highly preferred.
  • Communication: Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with the flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours for evening calls/correspondence with teams in Asia.
BE ON TEAM REBO, AND YOU’LL ENJOY
  • Opportunity to grow and develop your career with high internal and external visibility
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • We offer an inclusive environment that encourages diverse perspectives and ideas
  • Competitive Pay and Benefits package
  • Flexible work schedules and generous paid holidays/vacations
  • Matching 401k
