Summary of the role

The Delivery and Project Senior Specialist is responsible for managing assigned strategic accounts and projects, ensuring successful delivery execution, strong customer relationships, and clear coordination across internal delivery domains.

This role will have both responsibilities, handle customer or transversal projects and be in charge of Delivery management activity for strategic accounts.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Managing a Portfolio of Customers

• Act as Delivery Manager and Senior Project Manager for assigned strategic accounts and projects.
• Develop and maintain the customer delivery portfolio.
• Provide proactive follow-up on delivery activities and customer commitments.
• Build strong relationships with customer IT and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Pre-Sales, Account Managers, and the extended account team.
• Drive Customer Feedback Surveys and use feedback to improve delivery quality.

 

Project management

• Manage projects within the Project Team portfolio
• Ensure delivery within agreed scope, quality, and budget
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including expectations and commitments
• Operate in a highly customer-facing environment, requiring strong communication and influencing skills
• Rigorous in term of reporting and comfortable managing C level stakeholders in Steerco.

 

Pre-Sales

• Support the pre-sales process by providing delivery expertise.
• Involve delivery domain experts when needed.
• Highlight delivery risks, validate timelines, and confirm expert resource availability.
• Act as a functional and technical entry point for Amadeus products and solutions within the delivery catalogue.

Resource Management

• Ensure the assignment of expert resources from delivery domains, in coordination with Delivery Domain heads.
• Ensure clear commitment between Segment, customers, and delivery resources on scope, timelines, and budget.
• Proactively manage the request pipeline and support business prioritization for assigned customers.

Delivery Activities Accountability

• Coordinate all delivery activities within the assigned customer scope.
• Ensure delivered solutions match the contract and that customers understand the full capability of the solution.
• Manage risks, issues, and changes during delivery activities.
• Act as the first escalation point for delivery issues, internally and with the customer.

Reporting

• Communicate delivery status to customers and internal stakeholders with the right level of regularity.
• Follow up on delivery dates and ensure adherence to agreed plans.
• Create and maintain dashboards per customer and project, including deliverables, risks, and issues.
• Provide regular executive summaries on risks and issues requiring management attention.

Support Service Portfolio Definition and Improvement

• Ensure services offered to customers are aligned with the defined service portfolio.
• Support Delivery Domains to improve service quality based on customer feedback, prerequisites, and time-to-market expectations

About ideal candidate:

• Have solid experience managing customer-facing projects, preferably for international or strategic accounts.
• Are confident working with senior stakeholders, both internally and on the customer side.
• Know how to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and build long-term, trust-based customer relationships.
• Are comfortable taking ownership of projects, monitoring delivery and ensuring clear and structured reporting.
• Can successfully influence without formal authority and bring different stakeholders together around common objectives.
• Have strong communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Feel comfortable navigating complex or sensitive customer situations and balancing different priorities.
• Are proactive, structured and able to work with a high level of autonomy.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
