Occasional Private Tutor in Cranberry, PA 16066
A lovely family in Cranberry Township is seeking an occasional private tutor for their 13-year-old son, who is in 8th grade, starting in November 2026. Tutoring is needed 1–4 times per month, on an as-needed basis, for 1–2 hours per session. Sessions can take place on weekdays except Thursdays or on weekends, anytime between 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM. The family is looking for a knowledgeable and reliable tutor to help their son prepare for tests and keep up with the school curriculum, primarily in math, English, and science. He has tests approximately every two weeks, and tutoring needs will depend on the subject and study materials.
Start Date: November 2026
Length of Position: Long-term
Schedule: Occasional tutoring, 1–4 times per month, with no guaranteed hours
Typical Needs: Weekdays except Thursdays or weekends, anytime between 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM, for 1–2 hours per session
Compensation: $45-$50
Responsibilities
- Help the student prepare for tests in math, English, and science

Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 2 years of paid, professional relevant experience
- CPR certified, or willing to become certified
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
Compensation:
This position pays $45-$50 per hour, Tutoring is needed occasionally, 1–4 times per month, for 1–2 hours per session, with no guaranteed hours.
