Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking for an opportunity to build a career in healthcare? The Eye Clinic of North Dakota is seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Medical Scribe to join our team in Bismarck!

As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with our ophthalmologists and optometrists, assisting with the documentation of patient visits and ensuring accurate, complete medical records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in healthcare who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

No previous scribe experience? That's okay! We are open to training the right candidate who has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

• Work alongside physicians during patient visits to document medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
• Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system in real time.
• Assist providers with maintaining complete, organized, and up-to-date medical records.
• Become familiar with ophthalmic terminology, procedures, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and other team members.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Help support an efficient clinical workflow and positive patient experience.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical scribe or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using computers and learning electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Monday – Friday schedule with some extended evenings/flex time
