Senior Research Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced strategic research manager to work within our Customer Insights Team. The successful candidate will work within our research and customer closeness team to deliver research-based insight for our Sky and NOW brands and act as a key strategic advisor to our Marketing and Propositions teams. As a member of our Customer Insights team, you will deliver market research and customer insights that guides our strategies by unearthing what consumers do and love.

What you’ll do

• Work with senior stakeholders in Sky to define the ambition, scope and structure of research projects.

• Deliver end to end concurrent research projects from design to presenting to senior stakeholders.

• Work across quantitative and qualitative research projects including product and pricing demand research, questionnaires design, brand and advertising positioning research and deep dives across our categories.

• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with our colleagues to translate insights into action and maximise the impact and value of research insights.

• Collaborate with the other members of the research insight team on annual planning and overall insights across our categories.

• Be part of a high-performing team that looks to influence key strategic decisions in Sky.

What you’ll bring

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience in a research role.

• Strong expertise in market research methodologies with a particular focus on quantitative methods.

• Prior experience of managing pricing research and/or conjoint methodologies.

• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with experience presenting to senior audiences and presenting complex information simply and with impact.

Desirable skills and experience:

• A real passion and curiosity for customer insights and for working with our stakeholders to deliver on business priorities

• A self-starter, with a proven track record of engaging with, and delivering for senior stakeholders

• Previous experience in questionnaire design.qualitative research methodologies and in focus group moderation.

• Understanding of the Irish TV, Broadband and Mobile phone markets.

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.

Burlington Plaza is the home of Sky Ireland, a central, well-connected base for our Dublin teams. We’re just a 20-minute walk to Dublin’s city centre with connections via Dublin Bus, Luas and DART. Our nearest train station is Grand Canal Dock.
