The APP will work closely with Neurologists and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, neurological examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions under established clinical protocols.• Provide inpatient consultations and assist with follow-up care and discharges.• Conduct outpatient visits, manage follow-ups, and coordinate ongoing care.• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (EEGs, imaging, labs) as appropriate.• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive measures.• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in the state of Illinois• Current Illinois RN and APRN license or Physician Assistant license.• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).• Neurology experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates with strong internal medicine or critical care background).• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.⸻What We Offer• Competitive compensation and benefits package.• CME allowance • Access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.• Opportunities for growth within the national Prime Healthcare network.• A rewarding role in a mission-driven organization focused on patient-centered excellence.

Pay Transparency

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
