Best Value Food Products, is looking for experienced, positive and energetic (Warehouse Selectors) to join our night shift team!
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Warehouse Selector is responsible for accurate and efficient selection of product in our warehouse, proper preparation of shipments to our customers from the warehouse.
- Fulfilling customer orders by successfully picking items by location and building pallets per order pick tickets.
- Selectors will also be trained of use of our company RF Scanners to process each completed customer order efficiently and effectively, ensuring the orders are 100% completed as well as the pallet being built to company standards, labeled and staged in a warehouse location for it to be loaded onto our daily truck routes.
- The schedule for this position is from Sunday through Thursday evenings and occasional Saturdays throughout the year when needed starting at 9:00pm until work is completed.
Starting salary is $15-$17 per hour depending on experience.
Job duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Accurately pull orders for shipping.
- Move and scan inventory to the proper area.
- Sort and place products in proper locations.
- Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation.
- Must speak fluent and clear English. Spanish is a bonus.
- Must be comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment. (outer thermal wear provided).
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multitasking warehouse environment.
- Must be able to follow oral instructions and attention to detail.
