Physician – PM&R Lacombe

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible PM&R physician for our inpatient rehabilitation facility in Lacombe, La. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.

The Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital is operated by Select Medical – a national leader in inpatient rehabilitation – and features 30 inpatient rehabilitation beds. The new hospital employs 90 therapists, nurses and many other specialists. This hospital offers highly focused programs incorporating the most effective therapies, technologies and research to advance individual recovery for the many unique conditions, including:

• Brain or spinal cord injury
• Cardiac conditions
• Cancer rehabilitation
• Neurological disorders
• Orthopedic trauma
• Stroke

Position Highlights:

• M-F 8am-4pm schedule
• Long term acuity care and inpatient rehab
• Shared Call: 1:4 for 7-10 days a month and this includes 1 weekend.  You won’t be called in, but you will have to be available by phone during these times. 
• No Holidays
