Our client is a custom furniture manufacturer in Chicago that is looking for a Project Estimator to run point on quoting and budgets for all custom furniture and millwork projects. This is a highly creative and tight-knit environment with a significant sustainability story. Compensation will be predicated on background and experience but is likely to land in the high five-figure / low six-figure range.
What You'll Do

What You'll Do
- Generate accurate budget quotes for furniture and millwork projects using pricing from multiple trade (wood, steel, stone, etc.) based on customer-supplied designs and drawings
- Communicate and deliver quotes to customers in a timely manner
- Material procurement assistance
- Manage active projects
- Manage purchase orders
- Coordinate and schedule workload
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams
- Comprehensive understanding of construction industry or commercial furniture-related manufacturing
- Ability to read architectural drawings, understand details and decipher relevant specifications
- MS Office and Innergy experience is strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience working directly on architectural bids, preferably in the corporate interiors, millwork or related construction field
- Experience putting together project estimates is a must
