Are you the type of leader who enjoys being on the production floor, developing employees, solving problems, and delivering results?  Real Alloy has a career opportunity available for an experienced, personable, and skilled Production Supervisor at our Sapulpa, OK location.  This is more than just supervising production, it's an opportunity to influence the future of our operation by coaching employees, driving continuous improvement, and helping our facility achieve operational excellence.

 

If you are a Production Supervisor who can:

• Promote a strong culture of safety by ensuring safe work practices and compliance with company policies
• Provide real-time leadership, problem solving, and decision making on the production floor
• Conduct Root Cause Anaylsis for scrap, downtime, or other processes
• Ensure proper record keeping of shift activities through auditing 
• Create a team friendly environment
• Conduct employee coaching, performace discussions, and corrective actions when needed
• Assist in scheduling production

The Production Supervisor will be expected to lead 1 of the 4 production crews. We run our plant 24/7 365 days per year and our shifts rotate every 4 weeks days to nights - 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Our Production crews run 4 days in row and then they have 4 days off

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years work experience in a trade profession
• Highly motivated, goal orientated, ethical, and challenge driven
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools preferred
• Ability to demonstrate strong proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance activities of furnace equipment
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form
• Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced technical training through trade school or higher education preferred
