Description

Who we are looking for

The Global Client Implementation department drives the successful execution of initiatives for external clients onboarding on our Front-to-Back platforms.

We are currently seeking a PMO Analyst to be part of a group of Project and Program Managers, located in Poland, and supporting execution of State Street Client implementation strategy.

Why this role is important to us

The PMO Analyst is the analytical backbone of the PMO. This role owns the production of all governance reporting, from weekly status through to board packs and steering decks and maintains the RAID log with the rigour required to make it a credible governance tool.

The defining characteristic of this role is the ability to transform raw programme data into a clear, honest management narrative. Not formatting. Not collating. Genuine analytical translation.

This role must also have sufficient domain understanding to know when data does not make sense and to challenge back, not just process inputs.

Your new role

This role is active across the following PMO activity domains:

  • Programme Planning – maintains heat map MI; transforms JIRA data into progress reports for different stakeholder levels

  • Reporting & Board Materials – structures and writes all governance packs; owns the narrative quality; challenges the PMO Lead if content is unclear or inaccurate

  • Risk, Issues & Escalation – maintains RAID; scores risks; produces RAID summary for governance packs

  • Client-Facing Activities – produces client MI and performance reporting packs

  • Key Deliverables – tracks program key deliverables; produces weekly MI across

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and write the weekly programme status report – synthesizing workstream inputs into a single coherent narrative, not a collation of updates

  • Build and maintain all governance packs – board packs, steering decks and operational reporting – designed for executive decision-making

  • Maintain the RAID log; assess risks against the agreed framework; challenge risk ratings submitted by workstream leads

  • Produce and maintain MI dashboards – RAG tracker, milestone heat map, resource utilization – updated weekly and designed to drive decisions, not just display data

  • Maintain the key deliverable heat map in JIRA and Confluence; transform raw data into MI for operational, workstream and board audiences

  • Track test execution progress across all testing phases (BUAT, CUAT, DITL) in JIRA; produce weekly testing MI

  • Maintain the defect log by priority; track resolution against deadlines; produce defect trend analysis

  • Produce client-facing MI and performance reports; flag slippage against target dates and key milestones proactively

  • Review outputs produced by the PMO Coordinator before they reach the PMO Lead

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Strong analytical skills – able to identify trends, inconsistencies and risks within programme data

  • Executive writing – able to craft a management narrative that is concise, accurate and decision-oriented

  • JIRA and Confluence proficiency – comfortable maintaining trackers and dashboards, not just querying them

  • Risk management framework knowledge – understands qualitative and quantitative risk scoring

  • Familiarity with financial services or asset servicing environments preferred

  • MI design skills – experience with Power BI, Excel or equivalent; designs reports for usability, not completeness

  • Able to work under time pressure without compromising accuracy – governance deadlines are non-negotiable.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance, business, MBA or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience managing business projects in large, global financial service industry organizations or consulting firms

  • Fluency in English

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, full English proficiency

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Project Management tools

  • Advanced project management skills supported by relevant credential (PRINCE II, PMP or equivalent)

  • Proven leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with an executive audience

  • Ability to coach and develop a high performing staff

Additional requirements:

  • The position requires office presence at least 3 days per week

Minimum Salary:

zł132 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
