In this role, you will be actively hands-on—developing components in Subscription Management Cloud (SMC), building automated revenue pipelines in Revenue Management Cloud (RMCS), and writing custom PL/SQL and RICEW extensions in Oracle EBS.
The ideal candidate is a strong developer who thrives on writing code, building integrations across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, and developing scalable features.
An ideal candidate should have following basic qualifications:
Bright, energetic, self-motivated with a track-record of goal-achievement and high performance and a desire and aptitude to manage diverse challenges
Strong technical foundation to effectively contribute to and lead the work efforts of a team of developers and analysts.
Understand software engineering best practices and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, or criteria for work.
Perform broader technical design and create code specifications.
Ensure the code is scalable and meets performance and security requirements
Troubleshoot problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Propose and contribute to process and project improvements.
Groovy & Scripting: Write Groovy scripts, validation rules, triggers, and custom object extensions in Oracle SMC to support subscription pricing, amendments, and renewals.
Data Ingestion: Write FBDI and API data conversion scripts to ingest recurring billing and usage data.
Automated Data Pipelines: Develop and support automated inbound feeds (FBDI / REST) feeding contract and invoice data into RMCS revenue recognition.
RICEFW Development: Write, maintain, and optimize custom PL/SQL packages, BI Publisher reports, Oracle Workflows, and interface programs across core modules (AR, AP, GL, OM).
EBS-to-Cloud Integrations: Build data pipelines and web service interfaces that synchronize data between legacy Oracle EBS systems and modern Oracle SaaS applications (SMC/RMCS).
Performance Tuning: Diagnose complex database issues, optimize slow-running SQL queries, and perform code refactoring.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6+ years of hands-on technical development experience across Oracle enterprise platforms, with proven experience in both Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud SaaS.
Should have at least one end-to-end implementation experience.
EBS Technical Stack: Advanced PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and Unix/Linux shell scripting in Oracle EBS R12 environment.
Cloud Technical Stack: Hands-on experience developing in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (SMC) and Oracle Revenue Management Cloud (RMCS).
Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Groovy Scripting (for SMC) and building/consuming REST & SOAP Web Services.
Data Tools: Deep familiarity with FBDI (File-Based Data Import).
I-Assisted Development: Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) for SQL optimization, script generation, or API debugging.
