The Role

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Coordinator, Distribution to support our Distribution Operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth flow of inbound freight, inventory, customer orders, transport coordination, and day-to-day warehouse operations.

Working with minimal supervision, you will act as a key point of contact for internal & external stakeholders helping resolve inbound, inventory and distribution issues while supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the inbound & inventory team members

  • Managing inbound enquiries from customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock issues, and customer concerns.

  • Expedite urgent receipts, orders, and dispatches to meet service requirements.

  • Coordinate with Transport, Customer Service, Materials Management, and Quality teams.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Warehousing Practice (GWP), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Analyse operational trends and recommend process improvements.

  • Maintain high standards of workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics operations.

  • Strong inventory management and problem-solving skills.

  • Intermediate computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems or RF technology.

  • Current licence to operate materials handling equipment (e.g. forklift).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.

  • Flexibility to swap between roles within the warehouse environment to suit business requirements

Highly Regarded

  • Certificate III in Transport & Distribution.

  • Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Dangerous Goods Storage and Handling certification.

  • Experience working within a regulated environment such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or medical devices.
