Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Records in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and customers while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, receiving areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions, supporting customer service needs, and documenting incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
