The Product Marketing Strategy Manager will lead the strategy, development, and execution of high-impact client, prospect, consultant, and executive meeting experiences that drive business growth and strengthen relationships. This role serves as a strategic marketing partner to business leaders, sales teams, relationship managers, and subject matter experts, transforming business objectives into compelling, audience-centric engagement strategies. The successful candidate combines marketing expertise, storytelling, stakeholder influence, and project leadership to deliver differentiated experiences across the client lifecycle—including RFPs, finalist presentations, executive briefings, committee meetings, and onsite engagements.
As a trusted advisor, you will leverage audience insights, competitive intelligence, market trends, and client feedback to create impactful narratives and engagement plans that enhance meeting effectiveness and support measurable business outcomes. You will manage a portfolio of complex, high-visibility initiatives, balancing multiple priorities while driving excellence in execution, collaboration, and innovation.
This role requires a highly strategic marketer with exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills who thrives in cross-functional environments. You will partner closely with sales, consultant relations, retention teams, analytics, creative partners, and senior leadership to ensure experiences are aligned with business priorities, differentiated in the marketplace, and focused on delivering results. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to improve and scale meeting practices, establish best practices, measure outcomes, and mentor team members to elevate overall team performance.
Core Responsibilities
Independently leads marketing strategy and execution for high-impact client, prospect, consultant, and executive meeting experiences. Develops audience-centric approaches that drive business outcomes across RFPs, finalist meetings, committee presentations, onsite engagements, and other critical moments in the client lifecycle.
Translates business priorities into integrated experience and content strategies. Partners with business leaders, sales professionals, relationship managers, and subject matter experts to develop compelling meeting narratives, messaging, and engagement plans that align with client needs, competitive positioning, and strategic objectives.
Serves as a strategic advisor on meeting effectiveness and audience engagement. Applies client insights, competitive intelligence, win/loss learnings, and market trends to elevate the quality, relevance, and impact of marketing-supported experiences.
Owns and prioritizes a portfolio of complex initiatives and stakeholder needs. Balances competing priorities while ensuring high-quality execution, clear communication, and alignment to business goals and timelines.
Builds strong cross-functional partnerships and influences decisions across stakeholder groups. Collaborates with sales, retention, consultant relations, creative teams, analytics, and senior leaders to ensure experiences are aligned, differentiated, and outcome-focused.
Identifies opportunities to improve and scale meeting experiences. Develops new approaches, frameworks, and best practices that enhance customization, efficiency, consistency, and business impact across supported audiences and segments.
Measures and communicates outcomes. Establishes success metrics, evaluates effectiveness, and uses data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve marketing-supported experiences and inform future strategies.
Provides leadership and mentorship within the team. Shares expertise, coaches less experienced crew, and helps shape team standards, processes, and strategic direction.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of marketing, client experience, communications, sales enablement, consulting, or related experience.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
Strong strategic thinking, presentation development, messaging, storytelling, and project management skills.
Experience translating business objectives into client-centric experiences, programs, and deliverables.
Understanding of retirement, investment, financial services, or related industries preferred.
Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
