The Global Engagement and Communications Office is looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join us as Assistant Officer (Communications and Content). Reporting to the Senior Manager (Communications and Content), the appointee will contribute to the University’s communications initiatives and play a supportive role in enhancing its brand, reputation, and visibility among local and international audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce engaging content for a variety of communications channels, including website stories, feature articles, and messages for management;
- Assist in the production of digital and print collateral such as Annual Reports, e-newsletters, and videos;
- Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth implementation of communications and projects;
- Provide administrative support to the team, including procurement, budget tracking, invoicing, tendering, and publishing online content.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Language Studies, Translation, or a related discipline. The ideal candidate should be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail. The appointee should possess a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and sound knowledge of IT and software applications (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Previous experience in content creation and copywriting will be a definite advantage. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
