Description
The Solutions Architect – Risk Squad is tasked with designing and governing secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions that enhance the bank's risk management capabilities. This role collaborates with various teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into comprehensive solution architectures, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and security policies while providing technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for risk management applications and enterprise banking systems.
- Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and engineering teams to define technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Develop architecture blueprints, integration designs, APIs, and implementation roadmaps.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and integration approaches that improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design artifacts.
- Support system modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives within the Risk domain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong experience designing enterprise applications, microservices, APIs, and system integration solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
- Solid understanding of application security, identity and access management, and secure architecture principles.
- Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and Agile software delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to risk management, compliance, fraud, AML, or governance systems within the banking industry.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to mentor junior architects and engineers in best practices.
