Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in Bridgeport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unauthorized activity and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for visitors, vendors, and deliveries, helping to support site rules, traffic flow, and authorized access procedures.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that could affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
