The Supply Chain Excellence and Productivity Lead for South East Asia is responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain productivity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing and logistics operations in the SEA region. This role will champion IL6S (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma) deployment, lead cost transformation initiatives, and build organizational capability to deliver sustainable productivity gains that support the region's growth agenda.

How you will contribute

1. Strategic Productivity Leadership

  • Develop and execute the regional 3-year productivity roadmap aligned with Mondelēz global and SEA business objectives
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver gross productivity savings across the supply chain value stream (procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing)
  • Lead the annual productivity target-setting process and ensure delivery of committed savings

2. IL6S / Continuous Improvement

  • Drive IL6S maturity progression across all SEA manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent deployment of standards and phase journey milestones
  • Coach and develop site-level IL6S leaders and pillar owners to build self-sufficient continuous improvement capability
  • Establish and govern Loss Elimination and Zero-Loss Culture programs across the network
  • Lead best practice sharing and replication across plants within the region

3. Supply Chain Excellence

  • Design and implement end-to-end supply chain optimization initiatives including network strategy, capacity planning, and asset utilization
  • Drive reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and yield improvement programs
  • Lead debottlenecking initiatives to unlock capacity and support innovation and growth pipelines
  • Champion digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enhance supply chain agility and visibility

4. Cost Transformation

  • Partner with Finance to develop robust productivity tracking, reporting, and governance mechanisms
  • Lead value engineering and specification optimization programs in collaboration with R&D and Procurement
  • Identify and execute structural cost reduction opportunities across the supply chain

5. Capability Building & Talent Development

  • Build a high-performing regional excellence team with deep technical and analytical capabilities
  • Design and deliver training programs on Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and IL6S methodologies
  • Develop a pipeline of supply chain talent through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational discipline

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Plant Leads, Supply Chain Directors, and Commercial teams to align productivity priorities with business needs
  • Interface with Global Supply Chain Excellence teams to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide standards and initiatives
  • Represent SEA in regional and global productivity forums and governance reviews

  • Significant experience in leading manufacturing performance in a fast moving manufacturing environment with exceptional results (FMCG experience) with a career that has seen time at the Front Line and/or Manufacturing Manager level. Demonstrable and intuitive knowledge on fundamentals of good manufacturing practice, process improvement and optimization, Reconfiguration and imbedding of new or enhanced technology, Managing Costs and Variance, Motivaters and engagement levers for shop floor based performance, experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in interfacing with the broader Supply Chain and Commercial functions and a high level of capability around managing relationships and outcomes with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Category and Sales.

Job Requirements

1. Core Background & Experience

  • Total Experience: 10+ years of proven manufacturing, supply chain excellence, or operational leadership experience, managing large single-site manufacturing plants or multiple facilities within FMCG industry.

2. Technical Mastery & Methodologies

  • IL6S / TPM / IWS Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), or Integrated Work System (IWS) deployment and Phase Progression journeys, etc.

  • End-to-End Productivity: Proven track record of identifying, delivering, and governing gross savings and cost-transformation pipelines across the entire supply chain value stream (manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and warehousing).

  • Manufacturing Metrics: Expertise in driving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), reliability, yield improvement, debottlenecking, and establishing a Loss Elimination / Zero-Loss culture.

3. Leadership & People Capability

  • Team Leadership: Experience managing direct reports, specifically leading functional and technical pillar leads

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence senior business leadership, cross-functional partners (Procurement, R&D, Finance, Commercial), and site Plant Leaders without direct hierarchical authority.

  • Capability Building: Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to develop site-level IL6S leads and build self-sufficient continuous improvement capabilities across the region.

4. Mobility & Regional Scope

  • Geographic Mobility: Fully mobile and flexible for regional career growth and assignments (Essential / Must-have).

  • Travel Frequency: Willingness to travel 1 to 2 times per month across manufacturing sites within the South East Asia (SEA) region.

  • Communication: Exceptional, clear, and impactful communication skills tailored for stakeholder alignment at country, regional (SEA), and global leadership levels.
