The Opportunity
As a Deals - Deal Valuation - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. You will help clients make informed decisions by assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities to grow.
In this role within our Deals practice, you will leverage a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will use critical thinking to break down complex concepts and develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving. Your ability to interpret data will inform insights and recommendations, while upholding professional and technical standards. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can enhance your strengths and address development areas, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions
- Assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals to support informed decision-making
- Utilizing Alteryx and other automation platforms to streamline valuation processes
- Engaging in balance sheet analysis and financial statement modeling to provide comprehensive insights
- Collaborating with clients to understand their strategic objectives and deliver tailored valuation solutions
- Applying critical thinking to break down complex financial concepts and generate actionable recommendations
- Developing and maintaining meaningful client relationships to enhance service delivery
- Navigating complex transactions and adapting to changing business contexts
- Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in developing their technical skills
- Upholding professional and technical standards in alignment with firm guidelines and industry regulations
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
