Overview
Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Registered Nurse (RN) Required or
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist Required

Work Experience
- No experience required If graduate of RCIS or EP program Required or
- 1 year EP, Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN if not a graduate of RCIS or EP program. Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license Upon Hire Required or
- If a graduate of RCIS or EP program, Must obtain RCIS/RCES within 2 Years Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- ACLS Upon Hire Required
