Here’s a polished job description with the specific patient details included in a professional, recruiting-friendly way:
RN/LPN Pediatric Homecare Nurse – Family First Homecare
Family First Homecare (FFHC) is seeking a compassionate, confident, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, one-on-one in-home nursing care for a pediatric patient.
This is a meaningful opportunity to support a 17-year-old female patient in the comfort of her home. The patient is receiving both hospice care and in-home nursing services, and the family is looking for an experienced nurse who is comfortable providing comprehensive care independently in the home setting.
Available Shifts:
• Sunday 7AM–7PM
• Monday 7AM–7PM
• Saturday 3PM–7PM
• PRN coverage available, primarily for night shifts 7PM–7AM, though day nurses may also be utilized as needed
Patient Care Needs Include:
• G-tube care
• Oxygen support
• Breathing treatments
• Catheterization
• Hospice-supportive care
• Monitoring and supporting overall comfort, safety, and daily care needs
Care Environment:
The family is supportive and involved, and the patient is described as having a supportive home environment. However, the home can be busy, so the ideal nurse should be confident, self-sufficient, and comfortable managing all aspects of care before entering the home.
This case is best suited for a nurse who has strong clinical judgment, can remain calm in an active environment, and is comfortable supporting a pediatric patient with higher-acuity needs.
