Your Opportunity

Our Oakville and surrounding Greater Toronto Area offices are looking for a Co-op or Intern Student to join the Indirect Tax team in September 2026 for a 4-month work term. This is a net new role and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining data workflows for tax processing and compliance mapping (e.g., Alteryx or similar tools)
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to gather and clarify data and reporting requirements
  • Translate business and compliance requirements into structured workflows and data transformation logic
  • Build, test, and refine automated processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability
  • Work with large, complex datasets to clean, transform, and standardize information
  • Support the automation of repetitive processes using platforms such as Power Automate or similar technologies
  • Contribute ideas and approaches to improve existing processes and introduce more efficient solutions
  • Support ongoing initiatives in automation, data analysis, and emerging technologies (including AI where applicable)

Your experience and education

  • You are currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related program
  • You have a strong interest in automation, data, and building practical solutions
  • You have experience with data processing, including exposure to Python, SQL, VBA, or similar technologies
  • You have experience working with Excel for data analysis or automation (including VBA or similar approaches) is an asset
  • You are comfortable working through ambiguous problems and translating them into structured outcomes
  • You have the ability to engage in discussions to understand business requirements and turn them into technical solutions
  • You have the ability and willingness to learn new platforms quickly and adapt to tools used by the team
  • You are comfortable working with structured and unstructured data
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • You have the ability to take initiative and contribute ideas, not just execute tasks

The expected range of compensation for this role is $54,000 - $64,000 annually.
