Position Summary
ITOM Analyst with expertise in CMDB to join our IT Operations team. This role is responsible for facilitating maintenance of CMDB accuracy and integrity while also supporting Identity Access Management (IAM) program by executing routine IAM workflows and system administration in parts of the technical environment. The Analyst will collaborate across multiple technology teams to ensure CMDB and ITOM processes are meeting ITIL standards and audit/compliance requirements while supporting identity provisioning processes and Lifecycle.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the CMDB, collaborate with technology teams to ensure that all configuration items (CIs) are accurately recorded, updated, and compliant with ITIL standards.
- Manage and create reports and dashboards for CMDB data usage and maintenance.
- Complete Analysis and execution of routine Identity Access Management workflows in Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Exchange; conduct access reviews and support enterprise licensing management
- Collaborate with teams to monitor, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources to maintain CMDB integrity and data quality.
- Support audit and compliance initiatives related to CMDB.
- Assist with Development and Documentation of CMDB, User Provisioning, and ITOM processes, working with the team to align company goals, ITIL Standards, and meet security standards.
- Support IT Operations Management and Configuration Control Board (CCB) with CMDB insights to support a healthy and maturing CMDB.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field OR equivalent work experience
Years of Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in IT Operations, with a focus on CMDB or Identity Access Management
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification
- Service Now certifications and/or experience
Minimum skills:
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation skills, basic and complex levels
- Presentation and communication skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills including; Written, Verbal, and meeting engagement skills
Shift requirements:
- Training period – On-site 5 days (40 hrs./wk.)
- Post-training – On-site minimum of 3 days a week
- Primary working hours are weekday, daytime business hours
